He has been recognized as a top sales producer, sales manager, operations manager, dealership executive and business consultant. Prior to founding Prosperity Plus, Jim’s skills contributed to the success of Monroe Systems for Business, Savin Corporation, Mita Copystar and Carr Business Systems, a Global Imaging Systems dealer, just to name a few. |
As the President of Prosperity Plus Management Consulting, Jim works with office systems dealers, helping them improve their sales, cash flow and bottom line profitability. Prosperity Plus has also helped many dealers successfully navigate the sale of their dealership or the purchase of another dealership.
Jim graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration having also completed minors in both Marketing and Labor Relations.
Jim’s career began as a sales representative with Monroe Systems for Business. He quickly moved up to the position of sales manager and was soon Monroe’s youngest Branch Manager, covering the Boroughs of New York City. While with Monroe Jim’s performance was recognized with numerous President’s Awards as a sales representative, sales manager and branch manager.
In 1991, Jim joined Mita Copystar as the Area Sales Manager for the Greater New York area. He consistently grew Mita’s presence in this, the largest market in the world by helping dealers expand their businesses. This consistent growth was achieved without the addition of a single dealer and during a time when other dealers and manufacturers were struggling and earned Jim recognition as a perennial Mita Master.
In 1999, Jim joined Carr Business Systems, a $40,000,000 a year Global Imaging Systems dealer, as the Vice President of Operations. Here Jim helped with the acquisition of two dealerships, administered sales support and leasing programs, oversaw the installation of a full contact management system, directed the IT, warehouse and marketing functions and managed the move of the headquarters location to a new state of the art, 44,000 square foot facility. Jim was selected among the top 1% of the management team throughout Global’s dealers to attend the prestigious Global Leadership Institute.
In 2001, Jim formed Prosperity Plus Management Consulting for the purpose of helping office systems dealers throughout the country improve their operations and attain their personal and professional goals. Prosperity Plus Management Consulting, Inc is a consulting company licensed by WISE International to deliver consulting and training on the Hubbard Management System.
Since the company’s inception, Prosperity Plus Management Consulting, Inc. has helped more than 125 office systems dealers implement the principles of the Hubbard System to excellent results. Jim has been recognized as an opinion leader to the office systems industry. He has spoken at numerous trade association and manufacturer meetings and was selected by AIMED (the Association of Independent Mailing Equipment Dealers) to create a series of financial benchmarks for their dealers.
